Common Core Implementation Timeline
March 12, 2012 | 3 Comments
The Common Core Implementation Timeline provides a “scope and sequence” of activities for Common Core State Standards (CCSS) implementation from Summer 2011 to the school year 2014-15. It includes implementation activities related to exemplary modules, RFP timelines, the launch of State Standards in other content areas, transitional test development and the PARCC assessments.

*produced* sorry
although it was just a typo, which is standard operating procedure in NYS these days *grin*
Thank you for this revision.
I’m left with two questions:
1) Does this mean that local districts will need to participate in their own curriculum development during summer 2012 and the 2012-2013 school year? It looks like not all vendor-produces modules will be ready during 2012-2013, even though we’re fully implementing the standards.
2) Is there a list of pre- and post-test standards? Otherwise, every ELA and math teacher will be expected to prepare students for the entire core before mid-April.
Please see the new version of this Common Core Implementation Timeline that we posted on March 12, 2012.
