The Tri-State Collaborative (composed of educational leaders from Massachusetts, New York, and Rhode Island and facilitated by Achieve) has developed criterion-based rubrics and review processes to evaluate the quality of lessons and units intended to address the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and ELA/Literacy.

Appendix A – Common Core Standards for Math: Designing High School Math Courses

The Common Core State Standards (CCSS) for Math are organized by grade level in Grades K–8. At the high school level, the standards are organized by conceptual category. Achieve has convened a group of experts to develop Model Course Pathways in high school math based on the Common Core State Standards.
